I don't know where people hear this from, maybe some insecure people who were sad because they didn't get 160 or whatever, but it's not true at all lmao. Professional tests can discern intelligence up to 4 standard deviations, which is 1/31,560. Just because you haven't met someone like that, or didn't score that high yourself, doesn't mean it's "iNvALiD". Or maybe your argument is that it doesn't predict anything, which is also not true, you just don't know anything about statistics.
There are people in the 160s, I know a few who've been tested professionally, trust me they are far more exceptional than anything you've ever seen.
