>>13287285The lens hardens or get deformed. There are a bunch of other things that can go wrong in the eye to require corrective lenses. Hopefully in my lifetime we'll get cybernetic eyes that connect to the optical nerve which will allow us better sight across the entire visible and near visible spectrum. Zoom would be nice to have too.
