I'm 25, have ADHD for which I'm now properly medicated, I didn't do well at maths throughout school because I assumed I would always be bad at it. Now I want to learn physics as a hobby. I'd like to be able to understand the significance of Newton, Maxwell, Faraday and Einstein in layman's terms such that I have a general grasp of what we understand about the universe thus far. Not expecting to go study it at uni, just want to become scientifically literate. Advice on resources? Is Khan academy the be all end all for brainlet hobbyists? Books to read?
