Say i make a sexbot, and i've made said sexbot to seek sex constantly. Say i left it in storage where it is deprived of sex. If the robot was, in a way, alive, would that deprivation count as torture?
Or in other words;
If we created a machine that trough all the methods at it's disposal seeked something, would depriving that machine of what it wants be a way of inflicting pain on it?
