Cremate it, obviously. That's what is done to amputated body parts etc., so why not to the placenta as well? The remaining part of the cord stuck to baby OP would go to a compost or a biowaste nicely after falling off. That's fair, I'm pretty sure that's what my parents did, I just disagree with not always obtaining more money no matter how much you have. I have a lot of respect for the Indian tribes that dry the cord into jerky and store it in a pouch forever.
