What are some rare CS/IT specialisations that in couple of years experts of those specialisations will be on high demand. I want to get into CS/IT but don't want to be genric software engineer. What do you think about ML?

ML and Data Science is just lots of statistics and python.
Cyber Security is a part of CS where as you learn and get experience you become more and more valuable. Sure you won't be able to write apps but your skillset is a lot rarer than just SWE
