Thinking about this shit, thinking about how nearly every food stuff I consume is wrapped in full contact with some form of plastic.
Bread. In a plastic bag.
Milk. In a plastic jug.
Cheese. Sealed in plastic.
Meat. Shrink wrapped or cling wrapped.
Virtually every drink. In plastic bottles.
Even a lot of sauces, spreads and condiments come in plastic containers now rather than glass.
Could go full autistic and try to avoid all plastic contained foods, but who the fuck has the time for that, and even then you still have the plastics in the air and water. Besides all the food sources derive their nutrients from the environment. So we are continminated whatever we do. But are micro-plastics actually that bad for you? They are relatively inert, no?
Are they going to dig up our fossilized bones eons from now and say "look, these fucking idiots poisoned themselves with plastics, lol!'
