You can't since you're part of the universe. If you went faster than the normal expansion, you would just be making the universe expand faster.

It doesn't expand into anything like a balloon in the gif. The universe is the only thing around us and it has no solid border where there would be a 'beyond the universe'. It's just expanding itself and we can see that as an increasing distance between everything.
