If you replace him doing each discipline with someone specifically trained in that discipline, yeah, the result is going to be better.
But this guy is at the very least "decent" at 5 different things.
Software development and CNC+3d printing+laser cutting are probably his strongest suits, but he also has to put on the hat of CAD draftsman, materials engineer, machine designer, welder, and video editor.
I mean, I'm a software developer and I think I couldn't develop half the stuff he does in the same timeframe, let alone that I would have any level of competency in the hardware side of things. Of course he's only going to be ahead of the curve in a few of the many skills he does. The impressive part is that he can do acceptable work in all of them.
