According to Wikipedia, the universe “may” be infinite. I don’t understand.
If there was a Big Bang, if the universe expanded from a single point, How could the universe be infinite? There must have been a finite amount of matter/energy in that single point.
And how could there not be a center of the universe? I get that “everything is expanding away from everything else” but shouldn’t everything ALSO be expanded away from the center point where the Big Bang occurred?
