Yes it is, it enslaves your brain with hyperstimulation in the same way as any other social media site.

In any case, social media was a mistake. It is the worst invention of modern technology. It exists to polarize you to one end of the political spectrum, give you an intellectual crutch called an echo chamber, and assimilate you into a hive mind who rejects any opinion that is different from what their collective echo chamber says.

To truly grow as a person, stop surrounding yourself with people (online or in the real world) who don't want to look at the other side of the argument and don't want to increase their intellect through objective, rational thinking. Being "weakminded" is to simply be unable or unwilling to learn more. A good start would be to replace the internet with books if you can, you'll learn a lot more this way.
