Where are you getting that from? Most people are using VAERS for their vaccine related death arguments, and many of the entries in there are insane.

The covid death numbers reported by the media include all deaths WITH covid including car accidents and gun deaths. The media isn't reporting VAERS numbers as vaccine deaths. You're being disingenuous pretending that some people on an internet forum using VAERS numbers when the media doesn't use them justifies everyone from the government and media using the death WITH covid numbers.

Pneumonia and COVID-19 are two separate labels on death certificates, and even if you think COVID-19 deaths were being mislabeled, that doesn't explain why pneumonia deaths were 4-5x higher than the average annual rate.

No, it's 10% of cases that died without another cause of death listed, i.e. pneumonia, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, pulmonary embolism, etc.

The scrutiny over the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines has led to VAERS being overloaded with wonky shit, like sore shoulders, death of a stranger that someone saw on TV, a self-inflicted gun shot wound, so I suspect it's far closer to the real numbers than with any other vaccine.

So if you look at the link above, pneumonia and flu deaths were pretty much at the average, but I think that's because they don't want multiple causes listed when figuring out the major causes of death, that would lead to counting deaths multiple times. You can go to the following site and create an excel sheet with pneumonia deaths per week dating back to 2016. The highest number of pneumonia deaths in a week prior to SARS-CoV-2 was 5,583 in 2018. 35 weeks exceeded that since April of 2020. The average for the prior years was 3,399 deaths per week, and from April 2020-April 2021 the average was 8,078. So not quite as high as I said, but close to 2.5x the average.

You have that backwards. If you die of a car accident, you are not counted as a Covid death regardless of infection status. If you die for any reason following vaccination, it is reported to VAERS. Including suicide.

Interesting. They typically divide pneumonia mortality into things like "secondary to influenza-like illness" or "primary, community-acquired" to avoid the ambiguity, so I figure the "pneumonia" figure is all pneumonia not secondary to influenza.
