there is an ethical standard for math
you have to do the work for it to count
saying it's boring doesn't count as work
if you don't want to do the work, it's pretty much a sin for us to ask you to do the work...at least in the guru system

I'm not unwilling to the possibility, but I generally think STEM is a large waste of my time.
