2+2=4 is merely an example of the operation of addition which follows the axiom of addition, or another specific formula that follows a proof, a THEORETICAL, ONE CASE, ON PAPER DEMONSTRATION of the addition operation in use. NOT that "well 2 chickens plus 2 chickens (then 1 died) = 3 chickens so clearly 2+2 isn't always 4!!!!!!"
people are just making a big jerkoff hubbub about "what it means" to say "add averages". like just because you say "add averages" in vernacular, it's a big fucking philosophical question because doing one addition operation is incorrect for the case. this almost as autistic as Godel numbers. it's trying to be interesting attention whoring and grabbing onto interesting historical context about the French Revolution, the novel 1984, the spread of communism in Europe, etc. but it's really NOT interesting. it's fucking BORING
in fact, the video proves itself wrong when it gives you the correct answers to some of those physics problems by showing you their correct on-paper formulae
