Can someone solve this?

If you take any base 3 number with an even amount of 1s in it, that ends with a 1
and divide it by 2
you get a number that ends with a 2

for example(in base 3):
1102101 / 2 = 201012
11211 / 2 = 2102
12001 / 2 = 2112

Why is that? Whats the logic behind this? Does anyone here have high enough IQ to solve this? You cannot google this
