>>13267918I legit think the psy-op shit is one of the dumbest theories. It just doesn't make any sense when you consider this as a global phenomena. It's perpetuated by this idea that the government is operating as 1 unit with a unified goal. In reality it's a massive machine with tons of agencies with tons of people. It's not like there is this shadow group controlling everything, which is what you would need for some crazy psy-op going back almost 80 years, with more or less every single country taking part in it.
Could it happen on a smaller scale, ie this is some secret technology and the pentagon plays stupid and points towards aliens to confuse everyone? Maybe, but the idea that every sighting is faked for a singular purpose is just dumb.
