Mission 1 is to launch like Starship would on Mars with Falcon 9 like propulsive landing. SN5 and 6 completed this mission.
Mission 2A is to aerodynamicaly controll descent through the skydiving maneuver, critical to bleed as much speed as possible to reduce the amount of proppelant needed for the propulsive landing, this increases payload capacity. SN8, 9, 10 and 11 all completed this mission.
Mission 2B is to reflip back to vertical position and land successfully in a propulsive manner. SN15 completed this mission.
Mission 3 is to survive (re)entry into an atmosphere and to begin test-flying Starship Heavy booster. SN20 with BN2 is scheduled to fly this mission.
