Do you guys prefer chalkboards or whiteboards?

I prefer chalkboards, because they have a higher contrast and I find it's is easier to write on them because marker tips are slippery on a whiteboard.

I don't know why most schools are swapping out chalkboards for whiteboards though. I think probably because they are cheaper?
