How did modern life emerge wtf

Okay so let me get this straight, human life is possible because you can cook water and CO2 into sugar using solar energy, then that glucose can be broken down into a cute little wind-up chemical potential energy molecule and also some more molecules which carry electrons to pumps that create a sealed acidic environment that more wind-up potential energy molecules can be put back together with by using the diffusion of protons from the acidic environment into a less acidic one to power a tiny molecular mill? How did this evolve on its own and what did intermediate stages look like?
