You're not going to gain all that much from using assembly language rather than C. On the other hand, using something like Python or PHP gives your computer cancer.

yeah lmao, script kiddies and freshman think programming in assembly is some lost art of optimization when C is literally just aliasing assembly code into readability.
Not to mention that GCC is smarter than you and will take only seconds to compile down to optimized assembly that would take you about a few days to get beat by hand.

HPC hardware designers consider anything other than C++ and fortran to be irrelevant and optimize exclusively for these languages.
The math libraries in more modern languages are almost always just wrappers over fortran's BLAS, LAPACK etc.
Almost all pre-existing code you will encounter in physics, even in big institutions like CERN, NASA etc will be in fortran.
Just stop being a faggot and learn it.
