Basically, having a job - money, helps cast the net wider, but be wary of dumb girls who purely target this criteria. It does make sense also, to have financial stability as a male, of course it does, it makes a relationship more practical.
Of course decent, intelligent girls can look past that, to a point. They may help you get a job etc. But if you're beyond help, don't expect a girl to come your way so easily.
