What superpowers? My point is that there are straightforward ways to ethically achieve eugenics, one of them is to simply let things happen. The problem is that we have decided that eugenics is bad. The whole premise of transhumanism is that a super fancy high tech way of improving humans is better but in reality it is the only politically correct way to seek to improve humanity.
Another straightforward way to improve humanity would be to offer free IQ tests, and then offer money proportional to points under say 110 to get fixed and over 110 to have kids.
The problem is to admit that there are different genes with different possibilities.
