Was talking with some midwit friend at Manchester doing the same subject as me (am in Oxbridge). Their final exam in some subject was just a few "do this standard thing by hand on this example" in a row. I "solved" (if you could call it that) it in 30-40 minutes, while they had 2 hours for it and most students there did rather badly. I am certain that just passing here is harder than getting a first there.
This was such a "shock". I always knew that Oxford and Cambridge are better than the rest, but I never considered that a "decent" uni like Manchester will just be a joke. Like their exams don't even register as proper problems on our scale, let alone hard ones.
These people get the same sort of degree as us. This is absurd.
