What's your diagnostic? What's your age? M/F? Are you going to therapy on a regular basis? (weekly at the very least)
Are there any cases of mental illnesses in your family? (schizophrenia, bipolar, OCD, MDD, GAD)
Do you have a history of drug abuse?
When did you start having hallucinations? What about paranoid thoughts?
Are they auditory or visual hallucinations.
Antipsychotics can cause side effects but usually they are not severe. If the side effects are too unpleasant you can quit them after a month or two (on your doctor's advice of course).
You may not need antipsychotics though. Misdiagnosis with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder happens pretty often.
Whatever the case do you research but don't listen to people on the internet. Especially 4chan brainlets who think 5G makes the brain shrink and the moon is fake.
