Does anyone on /sci/ use kratom? Any other plants like it?

I was thinking of giving it a try. It's legal where I am. I used to be a methhead, and addicted to benzos, but haven't been addicted to those drugs in like 6-10 years depending on the drug. I can't smoke weed, because I get psychosis from it. Otherwise id just use weed.

I was thinking of doing this. How are the risks to the liver? How are the recreational effects? What do you guys think of Kratom?
