srs, how do math nerds geek out about this stuff? what am i missing?

im in foundations and even up to this point math just bores me and i get lost in the tediousness of it all. the most challenging thing about it isn't even the material, i legit need adderall for this shit.

but im really interested in how people just found out this is what gets them off. if you're a mathematician you don't really use it pragmatically so is this world of proofing and analysis really fun to you? pls enlighten me
