There is no scientific basis for these "micrnovea", it's just technobabble. If such events actually happened you could observe then constantly from other G type stars.

Well it suggests that the topic isn’t serious enough to warrant someone actually producing a written document.
This is supposed to be a science board, so if you link to something it should ideally be a paper or maybe footage. Something that one can look at, absorb at one’s own pace, think about, compare with other sources. You know, a bunch of text with data, maybe some graphs that illustrate the significance of the date, and other illustrations as needed. The fact that instead you can only link an entertainment format video presentation suggests that the author does not actually want us to think too hard about his work or compare it with other work.
