Help me understand, /sci/. Why are programmers so bad at math?

I am good at math. Why do I suck at programming, especially in my OOP course?

Why doesn't aptitude in maths translate to good programming skills, and how come some people struggling with linear algebra and induction proofs and can't spell to save their lives are better at programming than I am?
