from my point of view, comparing yourself to others and extracting value from these comparisons is inefficient and therefore a waste of time and way too volatile
instead of saying "HAR HAR you're focused on IQ and you don't have a chance!" I'd simply say "achieve financial independence, follow your interests and curiosity, and grats if something came from it." because that's simply how it is
