Get yourself a laptop that has no distractions on it, go to the library and sit there.
I found shitty laptops people were throwing out and installed linux on them and used that in the library. 4chan was blocked on the wi-fi so no problems there.
Phone was left in my bag.
Remember that if you're not a complete moron for a full unit study load you should be able to get away with 5 hours per full unit of study.
if you can only get a B in those 5 hours, then so be it.
Your aim is a 3.3 if you realistically have to go hard for a 3.5 GPA.
4.0 if 3.5 is easy.
3.5 is what most of your prestigious companies want. But about 3.3 is enough for most places.
you can get away with 2.5-3.0, but expect to be looking for a few months.
Engineering is one of those areas where grades do matter unfortunately.

There are people in your group that will do 15 and do okay. So if you are doing 5 and hitting Bs then that's fine.

That was before the quarantine began in my country and in fact it helped me to study but for a year and a half the libraries have not opened, I have been locked up in my house since March 12, 2020, I only went out to see my friends. I'm going to try to study in another room in my house, maybe it will work
