Why can't a midwit put out useful work? Being a midwit doesn't mean you can't adhere to method or fight your cognitive biases, it just means you might have to put in more hours. One could argue that midwits are superior to highly intelligent individuals because they're less likely to rely on their flawed heurestics.

The spacing and shit may or may not be mandated by your university. The length may also be (my university has a 60k word limit for theses in most sciences). It's a small sample size and almost certainly not randomly chosen out of the general population. For one thing, people who think they'll perform well in an IQ test are probably more willing to take one and have their results posted for everyone to see.

The losers here have nothing to cling to except for their supposedly high intellect.
There is an innumerably number of people who are both dumber and happier than them, many of them more successful as well.

The truth is being smart is meaningless. Even for super geniuses, their backbreaking, life-wasting slave labor is wasted on a people that care little for their discoveries and gives them a pittance in return.

They'd be much happier as a large, muscular, attractive idiot celebrity that gets showered with money, but they will never have that, so they toil, hoping to leave some impact on the world that rejected them.

Overly reductionist. IQ is correlated with all sorts of goodness, and being a genius will definitely give you an edge in just about anything you set out to do. It's also almost a requirement to achieve great success in certain areas of science.

The problem is that /sci/ are midwits and not geniuses, an IQ of 130 is not particularly impressive when you consider the implication that any settlement with a human population probably has someone with more brain power than you.

She likely couldn't change the citation style as dissertation requirements are very prescriptive (school-specific examples here: https://github.com/suchow/Dissertate) and the dissertation will be rejected if it doesn't conform.

No. She may have brown some cells and edited the paper.

Alternatively, the most substantial thing she did was gather the data of the other two students and put it together in a publishable form which was then edited. I highly doubt most of this work is her actual contributions.

The avg iq of Bio grads is ~120 so she isn't really well below what you would expect for a biomedtard. I'm not going to bother with it, but as a rule women are less likely to make interesting contributions to mechanistically demanding fields like biophysics.
