This might be a silly question but can we run out of wind power and what would be the effects of such an event?

In other words how much wind power can we generate from wind? If we keep placing wind turbines is it possible it will somehow distorted the flow of winds across the planet, due to more and more energy being transferred away from them, and affect the ecology?
