How do you know things?

Is true knowledge possible? Not just repeating character strings or having a linguistic bag of tricks. How do you truly verify anything? What basis do your views lie upon? I've noticed that for most anons, their philosophy rests upon a couple of fundamental beliefs that they blindly accepted because it was prevalent on this site and repeated as memes, not true understanding if such a thing exists.

I'm so confused. Is math the only thing that is truly verifiable and true? I'm considering just shutting myself off from the internet and focusing only on pure math and using that as a groundwork for the rest of my learning. There is just too much information on the internet and for every one piece of information there are 20 others that contradict it. I feel like I'm spinning my wheels browsing this site for hours a day and saving philosopher twitter accounts in hopes of actually learning something but only come out more confused. I need some sort of ground work to learn how to parse out good info from the false and figured that mathematics is the way to do that
