IxxJ are either led by Ni or Si, making them deal with the world through categories of abstract or discrete slots. ExxP are led by either Ne or Se, making them be delved in either various novel ideas or the heat of the moment. ExxJ are led by either Fe or Te, making them concerned with achieving things and getting projects done. They're good at leading and being efficient, but can be a bit utilitarian. Other obstacle is ignoring some important data for the sake of harmony or stomping over values and emotions to get stuff done. The auxiliary function that supports the top function in either giving them a mode to pass judgment or perception subjectively or objectively, depending on the top function. The tertiary function is opposite to the auxiliary function and can be used with effort, and inferior function is opposite to the top function.
Opposite means that the function is oriented the different way and are the other judging/perceiving function.
Fe<->Ti
Te<->Fi
Se<->Ni
Ne<->Si
As one can guess the opposite function operates entirely differently of it's counterpart.
When in the middle functions they can support one another but as the dominant and inferior functions can lead to the inferior function being ignored entirely or performance in it will be quite hard. Inferior functions can be used in small amounts but usually the dominant function leads the way.
The function stacks aren't *necessarily* composed of opposite functions and the other functions not present usually exists but are not used as much. For example a Si user will still sometimes utilize Ni to scope the big picture. At leas to some theory. But in one way it's natural for the functions to go either E-I-E-I or I-E-I-E so the person has both subjective and objective functions.
