Sorry stupid bottom here with some questions.

1. Why is it that the traditional form of a coronavirus (live action) the one being made by Novavax was thought to be up till now impossible. But yet the trial results show it is just as effective as the mRNA ones.

2. Given that live virus vaccines have been proven safe in both the short term and the long term, and mRNA vaccines have only been proven safe “for the most part” in the short term, and the long term is still an experiment that no one knows the results of. Wouldn’t it be best to wait for the Novavax vaccine instead of being a human guinea pig for mRNA vaccines?
