I studied basic math for 1 year after not studying any math for years (I almost forgot how divisions worked). Then I decided to study systems engineering. I am about to get filtered by this career, I need to get studying and fast, but I don't even know how to study or what. Some topics are so complex to me that it is evident there is a huge gap between the math I'm expected to use and what I know. There are so many resources and paths to take that I'm overwhelmed.

TL:DR What are good textbooks that can help me understand linear algebra, vector calculus, gaussian elimination and the like if I have a below high school understanding of math? Or am I beyond hope?
