>>13235264There are the temporal series of durations avaliable to thought and the passage of time avaliable to sense-awareness. The passing experiences of the world are taken into a consequent atemporal nature, where it is retained for prehension and goes on to change how this nature (god) interacts with the world. Clearly the concrete physical entities are not retained, as they are composed of infinite actual entities in variable durations. Inherent to each actual entity is its dimension of time. The actuality is aesthetic experience; actual entities are occasions of experience.
Science provides explanation of empirical evidence and things perceptively known; it is simply not equipped to reconcile the Cartesian world with process relations and the quantum world. Cosmology takes the evidence and attempts explain what is actuality there; not just the appearances, but what they are appearances off. It is a scientific explanation provided to intuition and intellect, but not 'the science.'
>>13235438There is clearly a temporal process of occasions, a flowing. A movement into what was the future, the present no longer as it was. You feel me? Then you felt me. That's time. Not the abstract measures of it. Not now, then, then, but the FLOW-ITSELF. We are sense-aware that there is actually is some kind of process happening. It is not avaliable to our thinking, but contains something ready for thought.
Time as we use it for all practical purposes is merely a measure. It is abstracted from what is actually there.
