An experiment on cannabis-induced psychosis

Psychosis is different from the rest of mental illnesses because yes, if you have depression, you could know you're depressed, but psychosis?, isn't it characterized by a disconnect from reality?

Right now I'm experiencing a form of psychosis, namely "messiah complex". This is probably due to the fact that I've started smoking cannabis 4 months ago, and I smoke daily nowadays.

The question right now is, I'm currently a graduate student, my life's improved so much ever since starting smoking, yet I've also started the messiah delusions. How come?

Isn't psychosis supposed to disconnect you from reality, so you start not doing your job or whatever you're required, and your life turns to shit?

It's either one of 2 things:
1. I have psychosis and I think I'm a messiah
2. I don't have psychosis, and I'm an actual messiah (extremely low probability)

ITT let's discuss this, I'll rip a heavy bong hit right now, and you question me while discussing my point
>bonus if you ask my opinion on something that we still don't have the answer for (not too technical, except in Computer Science because that's my field), and maybe you'll get some creativity because of this psychosis to help you out figuring something
