the better discussion should be once this conditioning has taken place can it be overcome or once you reach adulthood is it just set? from a purely game theory perspective being bisexual wins out against being straight or gay, social stigma could be an issue but you can live privately or have friends who aren't conditioned themselves. Though unfortunately I think if you reach adulthood (25+) without overcoming the conditioning then it is no longer something you can overcome
