It is alarming how, in an effort to correct a problem of some races performing g poorly in STEM, educators are pushing for overcorrection that completely misses the mark.

And what is the solution that bring in the hopes it will fix a problem that they do not fully understand?

Yep. They complain about black students not obtaining graduate mathematics education. Yet, beyond looking at race, we have Chinese students demolishing everyone else, to include whypeeple.

We should all see what makes them succeed and adapt those habits.

Although, I can almost see it that if there was an scenario in which white Americans students adopted study habits from Chinese students to match their academic success rate, and black students did the same by adopting the current study habits from black students, this crazy people would still complain that muh oppression is setting them back.

Speaking about the IMO, I know someone that works on a training camp in my country. Apparently they have quotas for girls and minorities now, so effectively there are less spaces for good students and the camp is bogged down by brainlets asking dumb questions.

Even funnier, is that they already have a girl only maths training camp, so they technically put more resources training up quota students. Someone bin my pathetic country.

For the last time that's the 2017 chemistry olympiad. At the IMO the US and China are about 50/50 in recent years.

Also the population of China is about 7 times the non-mudrace population of the US, so of course they'll be statistically overrepresented.

Conservapedia is retarded and the problem in academics is way bigger than the AMS. The solution to the crisis is to move away from the formal education paradigm entirely. Luckily math is a subject that doesn't need fuckhuge telescopes or lab equipment etc. that only universities can provide.

I think you are right, but this might work only for those student who genuinely like math. For the others who don't like it so much, but still need that proficiency will need some help and structure to go through the basic courses. Although, to be honest even then a decentralized approach could be useful and at the same time not entirely sufficient for students who are not that much into math.
