Pic related but not really, I'm working with a 6500 MS. Whoever used the instrument last contaminated it with their samples and now, no matter what mobile phase is used, still results in noise around 8000 counts per second. Meanwhile my LLOQ standard is peaking at 8500. I've tried damn near everything to reduce the noise from cleaning to the ol meoh:H2O steam treatment.
