I'm kind of curious, lets say you made a book that had a theory for every physical phenomenon. Could you devise an optimal way of testing these theorys so you could minimize the amount of tests needed to prove the books validity? Like could you only test half of the theory to become sufficiently convinced that this book accurately predicts all physical phenomenon? Or if there was a test that you could omit it means the book doesn't reduce it's theory's well enough and has redundant information?

I usually try to imagine a compendium of simple components that could be used to build a validation apparatus. Kind of like an Open Source thing. 3D printers would be valuable here.
