Scientifically speaking, why are white conservatives and poltards so prone to believing conspiracy theories and extremist ideologies, and why are they so violent and hysterical? If le ebil socialists wanted to round up and kill all the white people and christians they would have done so by now. These retards have been pushing the same retarded conspiracy theories as long as I can remember. It used to be the lolbertarians 10-15 years ago, and today it's poltards and Qanon, but otherwise it's basically the same shit: a bunch of obese Americans and schizo meth fiends who are convinced that the government and the "socialists" want to take their freedoms and destroy their non-existent "culture". The only real difference, is that conservatives today are even more extreme and more crazy than they were 10 years ago (pic related). It's a problem that seems to be getting worse, and I don't know what we as a culture (and even just this board) can do to address the issue, but we need to figure out something, because this is exactly how fascism takes root in a society, and the problem is not going to get better on its own. It seems like it's not only a political problem, but a problem of sociobiology and behavioral economics.
