There is well beyond more than enough free stuff on the internet to get you through the algebra needed to prepare you for calculus.

What are your end goals?
Most adults with an actual real desire to succeed should be able to teach themselves "college algebra" off the internet since there is now so much material available.
If your goal is just to pass college algebra then you could probably teach yourself and test out of the courses without having to take them.
