little adolescent me just assumed if i 'believed' strong enough i could do it, and it was only the preconceptions that the wall would stop me that would sabotage my ability, and if only i could reach full spoon-denying enlightenment
i also came up with the idea that if someone beleived they could fly and jumped off a building the universe would split into one where they actually could fly and one where they fall and die and we assume it was suicide, we are all trapped in the universe consistent with our expectations and there are other universes full of flying people.
what im saying is modern science is basically just trying to justify teenage stoner fantasies with clever numbers
