Nothing wrong with not being the smartest person in the world. In fact, I'd wager that being too smart is more detrimental than beneficial.
I think a lot of smart people idolize intelligence in an unhealthy way. Like, they're social failures and can't create great artistic works, they're bad at sex if they get any, and they're physically frail -- but they're intelligent, so they pretend that intelligence is the most important thing in the world.
Really, it's not. Guarantee she's happier than you. When she dies at the ripe old age of 90, she'll look back on a life well lived. Really, she's better off -- she's actualized her potential. You get stuck in analysis paralysis and never will. Sad.
