Considering going to Japan, Korea, Or Europe for a math major, Not for any other reason other than Me just wanting to explore the world, is there any benefits to studying overseas for any STEM majors, Or is it a meme?

It's a meme there are no benefits and it can be extremely harmful to your lifegoals. As for the part about you wanting to "explore the world" how much you will actually be able to explore as a student comes down to how much wealth you / your family has (if you have enough you don't need to be a student anyway).

Most of the schools in the US have the best stuff and so employers will like you more with a US degree. I guess if you get into oxbridge then you should go...

If you have that itch to adventure, you can try to do a semester abroad, or maybe get a job outside the states when you are done.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT come study in Japan if you're planning on studying in Japanese. You will only suffer.
If you get a scholarship and go somewhere you can study in english then it maybe is worth it, but otherwise save yourself the pain.

I wrote a big parragraph, but to make it short.
-Studying or writing reports take twice as much as a Japanese person
-Even if you have a really good Japanese level and understand everything the teacher is saying, you have a small but noticeable delay. Impossible to learn during class as I could studying in english or another language.
-They get past papers from their "Senpais" and just study a day before the exam, just to barely pass and learn fuck all. Even the best universities (My uni is top 3 generally for Japan) I feel the students around me know fuck all about any subjects.
But yeah if you're a masochist you may like it.

Yeah, that's me. Didn't get any useful advice though. Probably just gonna start working for 2-3 years save up money then go to masters if I really want to. Webdev is soul crushing

As with all bad decisions in life it's more important to consider what you are not doing by studying abroad:
>You are not building your network in a country where you are the ethnic majority (and therefore when you graduate you will either face heavy racial discrimination or be forced to rebuild all your connections/reputation when you move back home to try and find a job).
>You are not earning a degree that is easily recognisable back home (unless the programme is attached to your gradschool).
>You are not developing social skills at the same rate as other students (because of language barriers, you can learn it well, but you will not be able to communicate at college level easily).
>You are not building confidence in your character (can be a big one, a lot of international students end up hiding in their dorm due to not being able to make friends).

There are a lot of things you can do to alleviate all of this. A good example is structured exchange programmes. Basically you will be going there with people from your home country and you will still maintain a vital connection to your home university.

But blindly picking a country and then going for the best university you get into or whatever is guaranteed to end extremely badly for you.

Based on what? QS Rankings(kek).

Germany, NL and England(top ones only) have some very good schools. And I'd reckon Denmark, Sweden etc. as well.
