The broader the bundle of attibutes you define the larger the fuzzy set, the narrower and more exclusive the bundle of attributes you define the smaller the fuzzy set. The set is fuzzy because any one member may not have all attributes but still be a member of the set by their likeness or partial adherence to the attributes.
