Pretty high level midwit here. Some has been bothering me for years.... When driving about say 35 or 40 mph i notice that when i pass traffic cones or mailboxes in my car, the mailbox or cone makes a whooshing sound as it would were i standing still and it was passing me at speed.
What is going on here? The object is relatively stationery compared to the air its contacting. Why is it whooshing bros? Is my car maybe pushing a high pressure gust over the object when i pass?
Help me.
