No, "anti-gravity" isn't real. There is only gravity.

You can in theory generate a gravitational field stronger than the earth's gravitational field at a certain point, and objects will move in the direction of the generated gravitational field. This will look like "anti-gravity," but in the end it is just more gravity.

I'm assuming it's been tested to death and we don't hear about it because no one talks about replication that doesn't work, but maybe everyone just assumed it was too wacky and didn't even try.

What OP really meant, and the topic of the video he linked, is “gravity negation”, an effect that seemingly counteracts the influence of gravity. There’s scientific precedent for such an effect, but it has been stigmatised to death since showing early promise. Mostly likely due to a campaign that has its roots in the intelligence community to mark any research on this topic as pseudoscience/career suicide for defence purposes. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Funny you mention it, some months back there was a seemingly smart, but absolutely schizo anon on /x/ who followed stuff similar to what's in the OP. He posted pics, diagrams, his ideas, and how he thought it would work. He mentioned being poor but that he was eventually going to get enough scrap to produce a prototype. I know it will likely fall through, but I can only hope some psycho from /x/ uses his homemade gravity-negation tech to evade his gangstalkers. It would be the ultimate irony.

Yes. Look into the works of Biefeld and Brown, and make sure you understand that ion wind was known of decades before their research. It's not so much anti-gravity as it is coherent gravity, using electricity to focus the gravitational pull of the dielectric in a single direction for thrust. Ultimately it lead to a propulsion system that was too heavy to get any lift. Using air as a dielectric for added ion wind thrust was just an attempt to lighten the load.

I'd like to be the first to stand up in this thread & go out on a limb..

Dark energy is not anti-gravity..
we are observing an effect that gives an appearance of "anti-gravity" like results...
BUT.. what we're observing is not "anti-gravity"..

sure, I may gain some criticism but someone has to take a stand.
